Mathukutty Abraham
Director, DAEB Corp Private Limited
A lifetime of institutional experience across financial services, public broadcasting, tourism and media — and a deep, continuing bond with India's literary and cultural life. At DAEB, he brings the human perspective to technological progress.
A career built on institutions, a life built on words.
From Piravom in Kerala to boardrooms and broadcasting studios across India — Mathukutty Abraham's journey spans finance, tourism, media and public service, all bound by a belief that institutions exist to serve people.
Over a career spanning decades, Mathukutty Abraham has held responsibilities across some of India's most trusted institutions — in financial services with Peerless, in public tourism with the Kerala Tourism Development Corporation, and in national broadcasting with All India Radio. Each chapter added the same conviction: credibility is earned through consistency, and trust is the slowest asset to build and the most valuable to keep.
Beyond the professional life is a literary one. As an author, poet, songwriter and tabla artist, he has contributed to Malayalam literature and cultural life for years — writing that speaks of people, memory and belonging. It is a voice that insists technology, too, must ultimately serve human stories.
His community leadership in Kerala and his sustained humanitarian work — sponsoring orphanages and homes for older people — complete the picture of a director who measures success in more than revenue.
"Intelligence is only worth building if it remembers who it serves. DAEB's promise is AI that carries India's values — accountability, dignity and inclusion — into every institution it touches."
